Thought for the Week

Wasn't it nice to have a white Christmas in Dixie.  Hope everyone had a good visit with friends and family these last few days.  Are you ready for some football ?  It's time to settle in for the time honored New Year's tradition of non-stop college football games for the next week and a half now that television has drawn out the championship game to January 10^th.  In between running in the kitchen for another bag of chips or working on another batch of hot wings, take time to do some inventory, if you didn't get to last week…count your blessings !  No one knows who said this…"A New Year's resolution goes in one year and out the other."  That is so true, but remember what you can count on and that is friends, family and the Good Lord above.  So as we say good bye to 2010 and look with hope and excitement to 2011, our hope from your Kiwanis Club is a safe, prosperous and happy New Year !!
