The Kiwanis Club of Carrollton met on April 4 2025, at the University of West Georgia Hubbard Dining Room in West Commons. Our club had the pleasure of hosting Michelle Morgan, Carroll County Commission Chair. Ms. Morgan provided an engaging and interesting brief history of Carroll County as the county reaches its milestone 200th year in 2026. The program also highlighted the impressive growth and care for our community parks (reaching an estimated 2,700 total acres) and preserved land areas, particularly surrounding the Chattahoochee River. Various activities will be held beginning in the fall of 2026 to culminate with the December 11, 2026 formation date of Carroll County. The informative program concluded with valuable time to engage with Ms. Morgan in a question and answer format.
