The Ambassador Program and International Programs are some of the signature programs at Oak Mountain Academy. Both programs are founded on leadership development and help set Oak Mountain Academy apart as an outstanding choice to help prepare students to be college and industry ready.
The Ambassador Program is an important piece of leadership development in the Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School. It is an exclusive, invite only program at OMA in which selected students are campus leaders, acting as tour guides for prospective students, key contributors to our advisory programming, and are the first choice for student representation at off-campus events. Through this program, students undergo a robust leadership training program that will prepare them to be leaders during their time at Oak Mountain and beyond.
The International Program at Oak Mountain Academy invites 6-10 students per year and are placed with trusted host families. Students are given a true American experience through their time at OMA, including travel opportunities with the school and with their host families, and the robust academic and leadership programs at the school. Each international student is given a personalized support system to help them succeed and enjoy their experience on the Mountain.
