The Kiwanis Club of Carrollton met on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center. Our club had the pleasure to host Emily Buck, volunteer coordinator, for Family Hospice. Emily's primary job is to recruit, retain, and assign volunteers in the pursuit of serving others. Emily shared her personal story and her calling to support those battling terminal illness as a source of compassionate comfort, care, and peace for the patient and giving caretakers. It was humbling and meaningful to learn firsthand about the physical, spiritual, and social support provided by Family Hospice within our local county.
