Guest Speaker Joe Garrett graced the Kiwanis Club of Carrolton with his rich storytelling style. Topics included the Burwell Mafia; reflections on the lives of Dr. Bob “Woody” Reeves and Mr. Cecil Duffee Jr.; a tribute to “Sheriff Barney Fife;" and a rousing sports telecast channeling legendary Larry Munson as the voice of the Georgia Bulldogs. The program was inspirational, profound, and sprinkled with laughter.
