Tuesday May 14, 2019Neil Weathington, Chair of the Kiwanis Art and Music Showcase, and Dr. Bob Pinckney, Carroll County School Board Member and Kiwanis Past Lieutenant Governor were invited to honor senior Christian Mitchell for being awarded the $ 2,500 scholarship from the Georgia Kiwanis District Foundation. Christian's painting won first place and $ 500 in Carrollton's Art and Music Showcase, and advanced to Lee County where he won second place in the juried District art show .
