Dr. Oman Lattouf, Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Tanner Health System
The Kiwanis Club of Carrollton met on February 14, 2025, at the University of West Georgia Hubbard Dining Room in West Commons. Our club had the pleasure of hosting renowned heart surgeon, Dr. Oman Lattouf, who serves as the Medical Director of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Program and Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Tanner Health System. Dr. Lattouf was joined by colleague Corrin McCloskey, Executive Director of the Heart & Vascular Service Line at Tanner. The presentation focused on the strengths among the power of heart surgery and community support. Dr. Lattouf performed the first open heart surgery at Tanner and has conducted 380 cardiothoracic surgeries to date in the past two years. Carrollton and the West Georgia region is extremely fortunate to have Dr. Lattouf as a physician with global distinction, yet entrenched within our own community.
