The Kiwanis Club of Carrollton met on October 10, 2025, at the University of West Georgia's Hubbard Dining Room in West Commons. Following an educational reminder of the upcoming SPLOST early voting period, our club had the pleasure of hosting speaker Jonathan Parker, local real estate agent, registered forester, historian, and artist.

His topic, "Once Significant Places," shares his passion and expertise in communicating people, places, and time through revealing the character of a property. Mr. Parker studies Indian trails indigenous to the West Georgia area, develops intricate mapping documentation, and translates into beautiful works of art including land line lots, historical photographs, floral and fawn, and more. An engaging conversational session followed his captivating presentation.
