We had a large, enthusiastic gathering waiting to hear Laura Richards' inspiring and entertaining program on the Carrollton Greenbelt.  Johnny Tanner invited daughter Molly Tanner and sister Lisa Barber.  Molly is a smart, personable Art Education major at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega.  Lisa is a pastor's wife now living in Florence, AL.  They have three teenage children.  Lisa is active in community theatre and musicals.  When she was a child, she managed a successful lemonade stand and sold huge amounts of Girl Scout cookies on Dixie Street.

Jim Carter invited special friend, Cathy Perry.  Jim bragged about her being the first Vice President of the Carrollton Civic Women's Club.  Cathy is retired from a successful career in the automotive industry.

Mark Herring brought prospective member, Ann East.  Ann is a loan officer at Ag South Farm Credit.  She lives in Lineville, Alabama and is a loyal football fan.  Roll Tide!

Mitch Clifton invited prospective member Melissa Cox, Director of Development in the University Advancement Division.  A UWG graduate with a BA in Business Administration, she's happy to be back home at UWG.

UWG Development Team members Nichole Fannin and Ketty Cusick joined us to celebrate UWG student Katie Enderle, who is this year's recipient of the Col. Frank Jones Scholarship.  Members who knew Frank miss him.  He'd be impressed and proud knowing that Katie has been awarded the scholarship in his name.

Times-Georgian reporter, Dan Minish, was with us to cover Laura Richards' excellent program.   Wayne Reynolds visited from the StarNews.  We appreciate the media coverage!
