Our program presenter and sister of Johnny Tanner, Sally Macaulay and an array of interesting guests made for an exciting, informative meeting. Alison Tanner, wife of Johnny Tanner and the woman who made him into the outstanding, manly man he is, joined us to hear Sally's presentation on the Marietta Chalkoberfest. Marietta Kiwanian, Andy Gaines, was present to hear Sally, his fellow Marietta Kiwanian, present the program.
Brightening up the meeting was Katie Macaulay, oldest daughter of Hugh and Sally Macaulay. Katie works in insurance sales for the Farmers' Insurance Company. Most likely Katie is the inspiration for the Farmers' TV ad that announces: {"We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two." Come back to see us, Kalie!
Our own Tim Chapman, Superintendent of the Carrollton Center for the Arts, distributed a brochure reminding us all we have a fantastic arts center right here in town.Other local dignitaries joined us: Peter Debick, Carroll County Geographic Information Systems Manager and Planner; April Saunders, Marketing and Communications Director for the City of Carrollton; and Erica Studdard (AKA "Blue Eyes"), Carrollton Community Development Director.
