Delivering the gift cards to Central and Carrollton High Schools.
In total, the club raised $1360 (!) this year to purchase small-denomination gift cards to restaurants (Subway, Chick-fil-A, etc.) to donate to local schoolchildren who may be experiencing food insecurity over the winter holiday break. The principals are working with school counselors and social workers to distribute the donations to those most in need this season.
