Death of Past President Laurence Smith

The TIMES-GEORGIAN today announced the passing of Laurence Smith due to cancer.

He was President of the Carrollton Kiwanis Club during the 1989-1990 term.

See pages 144-148 of the club history for details of his time in office. It almost seems like a past "golden era"

with very distinguished speakers, multiple fund-raisers, and around 140 members!
