Art Winners !
 
The Carrollton Kiwanis Club Foundation presented fifteen hundred dollars in scholarships to students who submitted art in the juried art show.  Presentations were made on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Carrollton's Center for the Arts.
 
Nat Proksell, senior at Central Carroll, won Best in Show and a five hundred dollar scholarship for Growth and Decay.

First Place
Itzel Trujillo, senior at Villa Rica High School, won first place and a four hundred dollar scholarship for El Jaguar Dauzante.
 
 
 
 
Zarrian Bowen, sophomore from Villa Rica High School, won second place and a three hundred dollar scholarship for Process.
 
 
 
 
Emma Guthrie. senior from Villa Rica High School, won third place and a two hundred dollar scholarship for Act Like a Lady.
 
 
 
 
 
Catherine Simmons, senior from Central Carroll, won fourth place and a one hundred dollar scholarship for the untitled mixed media piece.
 
 
 
 
 
K'tia Cochran, Junior from Carrollton High School, was recognized as honorable mention for Feeling a Bit Blue,  and will enter the District Show as representative of eleventh grade.
 
 
 
 
Harmony Culver, ninth grade from Carrollton High School, was recognized for Self Love, and will enter the District Show as representative for ninth grade.
