The Carrollton Kiwanis Foundation awarded a total of $ 3,000 in scholarships at the Cultural Arts Center on Sunday, February 12, 2017.
 
The Art Scholarship Winners 
 
Christian Mitchell, Villa Rica High School sophomore, won "Best in Show" and was awarded a $ 500 scholarship for the painting entitled "Visions".
 
 
 
Alyssa Williamson, Mt. Zion High School sophomore, won "First Place" and was awarded a $ 400  scholarship for the sculpture "Belle of the Ball".
 
 
 
Alexis Jarrett, Central High School senior, won "Second Place" and was awarded a $ 300 scholarship for multi-media piece entitled "You Take My Breath Away."
 
 
 
Josey Hennesy, Mt. Zion High School junior, won "Third Place" and was awarded a $ 200 scholarship for the painting entitled "Elephants".
 
 
 
Hadley Carroll, Bowdon High School sophomore, won "Fourth Place" and was awarded a scholarship of $ 100 for the painting entitled "Wonderlust".
