Art and Music Showcase

Bob Reeves and Karen Clevenger entertained the crowd while the music judges completed their task.

The Carrollton Kiwanis Foundation awarded a total of $ 3,000 in scholarships to high school artists and musicians at the showcase on February 14, 2016.

Music Contestants

The Carrollton High School Chamber Ensemble won first place in music and received a scholarship of $500; splitting the scholarship five ways:

Daniel Kuntz, clarinet

Chase Hornsby, alto saxophone

Aquay Backus, alto saxophone

Katahj Copley, tenor saxophone

Khalil Newell, tuba

Daniel Kuntz arranged for the quintet "American in Paris" by Gershin.

Albert Shin, violinist from Bremen High School, won second place and a scholarship of $ 400.

Blair Lipham, Carrollton High School soprano, won third place and a $ 300 scholarship.

The Central High School Barbershop Quartet won fourth place and $ 200 scholarship:
