Thanks to a grant from the Carroll EMC Foundation and sponsorships from Southwire and other local companies and individuals, a total of two thousand dollars in scholarship prizes is awarded to local high school art students in the local competition sponsored by the Carrollton Kiwanis Club and the Carrollton Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Department.

John Murphy will be eligible to enter the State Final Art Show as Carrollton's Best in Show. 

Carrollton will also send artworks to the State Final Show from:  Andi Denney, 12th grade; Carole McDonald, 11th grade; Crystal Hannah 10th grade; and Savannah Ikhmais, 9th grade.
