Timothy Van Johnson, Jr., UWG Circle K Social Media Chair, joined us for lunch. Timothy is a student mentor who majors in Health and Community Wellness.
Mark Herren invited Amy Porter, Area Representative for the West Metro Fellowship of Christian Athletes. A UWG alumn, Amy also served as chaplain for the UWG softball team. Mark also brought prospective member and Central High School graduate (2001), Jay Webb. Jay is the Multi-Area Director for the West Metro Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Matthew Clay introduced us to his new intern at UWG, Jordyn Bannister. After graduation, Jordyn plans to attend law school to study sports law. Matthew also invited Corey Speights. Corey oversees and coordinates all live-event productions at UWG. He also works with youth in a Carrollton community basketball program.
We welcomed Laura Eady, UWG Associate Athletic Director. Laura joined us to hear program presentations by Softball Coach Al Thomas and Head Baseball Coach Jeff Smith. Daryl Dickey, UWG Athletic Director, also came to hear the program.
