Here's an update on President Susan's recovery from a broken hip.

Kiwanis President Susan has been discharged from Tanner Hospital and is recovering at home in a modified living room that now contains a hospital bed.  This arrangement will allow her to heal and live on the main floor of her house, and avoid stairs.  Susan is in good spirits, and is undergoing therapy, and is very grateful for the calls, cards, and visits from friends.

During Susan's convalescence, neighbor brother Richard Duncan has been drafted into service and has assisted in the care of Eb Duncan.  And Eb has benefited greatly from the new K9 companionship of one called; are you ready for this? ; "Puppy Wuppy."

While Susan is instructed not to operate heavy equipment, drive automobiles, etc.. she plans on arriving at a future Kiwanis meeting in a golf cart.
