Update from Mike Washington

Laurie continues to take baby steps forward at Cobb General Hospital.  She came off the ventilator Thursday (12-16-2010) , and stared a clear liquid diet yesterday (12-23-2010).  Her kidneys are becoming active, but she still needs dialysis.  She may leave the ICU soon if her progress continues.    Thank you for asking and for all the prayers.
