Thought for the (Christmas) Week

As you can see down through the ages, we have always had a concern about making things better for our kids, the next generation.  The same is true for our Kiwanis Club, we want to make a difference in the lives of the kids in our community.  This year is quickly drawing to an end and Christmas is right here upon us.  2010 has been a challenging year for so many and yet we always have more blessings than we could ever count.  Hopefully this week will be slowing down a little for you, so you can take some time and spend it with family.  Invest some time in your family the next few weeks as 2010 comes to a close; the dividends will be much higher than you could ever get from the stock market.  You don't always have to give the biggest, the fastest or the newest widget on the market…give something more precious than that to your family…give yourself.  Give them some undivided attention…it will make them feel special and make it a Christmas to remember.
