Tom Dugan, playwright, visited the Carrollton Kiwanis Club on Friday, October 18.  He brought with him actor Michele Tauber, who portrayed the widow of assassinated President Abraham Lincoln.  Tauber recreated two scenes from the play for the Kiwanis Club.
 

The premier of "The Ghosts of Mary Lincoln" was presented at the UWG Townsend Center.   All of Tom Dugan's  plays that have gained nationwide fame have been premiered at UWG:  Robert E Lee - Shades of Gray, Frederick Douglass in the Shadow of Slavery, and Wiesenthal.  Tom Dugan thanked Robert Jennings and David Manuel of the Townsend Center for helping spark the idea of the play about Mary Lincoln about three years ago while they enjoyed lunch in Carrollton.
