Sheriff Terry Langley spoke to the Carrollton Kiwanis Club and fielded questions on functions and challenges facing law enforcement today. The Sheriff stated that two common denominators of detainees in the County Jail are 1) some involvement with substance abuse, and 2) lack of education. The Sheriff considers educators to be on the front line of crime prevention.

A special thanks is issued to Sheriff Langley for supporting the Kiwanis Bowl and for the consciencious effort to lead a full service - customer friendly - department.
