Carole Sanders was crowned Queen and Miss Pine Knoll 2012 at the Pageant on Friday, March 9, 2012. Dr. Fred Richards served as Master or Ceremonies and members of the Carrollton Kiwanis Club served as escorts. Marilyn Bonner was announced as third runner-up, Jewell Wallace was announced as second runner-up, and Nancy Cook was announced as first runner-up. An entertaining dance followed the pageant.
