Greer Lyle, eleventh grader attending Carrollton High School, won first place and a five hundred dollar scholarship for her vocal performance of "Adele's Laughing Song" from "The Fledermaus" by Johann Strauss.  Ms. Lyle was accompanied on Piano by her teacher Mrs. Brenda Sue Holcombe.

Sam Park, eleventh grader attending Oak Mountain Academy,  won second place and a four hundred dollar scholarship for his piano performance of "Revolutionary Etude" by Fredrick Chopin.

Sarah Landman, eleventh grader attending Bremen High School, won third place and a three hundred dollar scholarship for her Clarinet performance of "Rhapsody for Clarinet" by William Osborne.

Kayla Trotti, twelfth grader attending Central High School, won fourth place and a two hundred dollar scholarship for her vocal performance of "Se tu m'ami, so sospiri".    Ms. Trotti was accompanied on piano by Kelli Harris.

Abby Alexander, tenth grader attending Oak Mountain Academy, won fifth place and a one hundred dollar scholarship for her vocal performance of "Du bist die Ruh" by Franz Shubert.  Ms. Alexander was accompanied by Joel Williams.

Thanks to a grant from the Carroll EMC Foundation and other sponsors, the Carrollton Kiwanis Club is honored to present these scholarships to deserving students.
