Metro Atlanta Founder's Day
Susan Duncan enjoyed the visit to the Historic Green Manor Restraurant when she attended the event in 2012. Her great-aunt married a physician and lived in the house more than a few decades ago. Many of the family photos remain displayed in the house, now listed on the Register of Historic Places.

Neil and Lynn Weathington represented the Carrollton Kiwanis Club at this year's Founder's Day event and had the pleasure of sitting with one of the charter members - Mr. Norman Johnson. The Metro Atlanta Club is a Model Club in its giving to the Kiwanis International Eliminate Project. Donations to the Eliminate Project average over $ 750 per member. Several Zeller Fellowship awards were presented at the conclusion of the program. Of note, Zelma Paschal received the Presidential Zeller - she and her husband James were recognized for a generouse donation to the Eliminate Project. Neil enjoyed the attempts NOT to say "Zeller Fellers" during the evening.
