V.P.  Mike Dugan welcomes Darryl Johnson , McIntosh Reserve.

Darryl Johnson was very passionate about treasuring the resource  of the McIntosh Reserve.  He stood and held a native Indian "dance staff" while telling the history of Chief McIntosh and the history of the Indians that occupied Georgia and Alabama.

Many citizens in Carroll County do not realize the value and beauty of this park.  Native Americans travel from all over the US to participate in the annual pow wow celebration, and to honor the memory of Chief McIntosh.

The McIntosh Reserve is now under the care and supervision of Carroll County's  Parks Department.
