Matthew Collins, from Newnan Georgia, is a Shroud Presenter.   When He speaks to groups, he brings a life size (14 ft 5 in x 3 ft 7 in) replica of the Shroud of Turin, and a life size bronze covered fiberglass sculpture of the body of the man based on the three-dimension image from the Shroud.  The Shroud of Turin is currently owned by the Pope and has been housed since 1578 A.D. in The Cathedral of St. John in Turin, Italy.
Circumstantial evidence certainly leads to the conclusion that the linen is the burial cloth of Jesus of Nazareth.  As to how the linen received the image remains a great mystery.

Matthew Collins writes a blog and provides information on the  Third Day website .
