This photo of two former "West Georgia College" colleagues was taken when Newt Gingrich re-visited the Carrollton Kiwanis Club in 2007.

 

Dr. Lincoln DeVillier passed away on November 18, 2011 after an extended illness.   He served in WWII and was a D-Day survivor.  He would have been 96 years old if he had lived to his next birthday on January 20.

Funeral Services will be held at  Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Carrollton Georgia at 10 AM on Wednesday,  November 23, 2011.   Members of the Carrollton Kiwanis Club are asked to serve as honorary pallbearers and should be at the church at 9:30 AM.  Interment with full military honors will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help cemetery.

The eight Kiwanians who have been selected as official Pallbearers should meet at Almon Funeral Home at 9 AM on Wednesday.  A special thanks is issued to Joe Bell, Roy Bogue, Jim Carter, Jim Collins, Dave Dugan, Bob Graf, Dan Lewis, and Tim Warren.
