The Villa Rica Gold (9 & 10 yr old) team was proud to be one of the winners and enjoyed a home field advantage at the Villa Rica V-Plex on Saturday.   They defeated the Heard County # 2 team and will advance to the next round of playoffs on October 30 at Carrollton High School Stadium.
 

All in all, 58 teams compete in the Kiwanis Bowl, which consists of four divisions of 7 & 8 year olds, four divisions of 9 & 10 year olds, and three divisions of 11 & 12 year olds.

Special thanks go to Kiwanis Bowl Chair Susan Duncan, Field Captains:  Harris Johnson, Suzy McCorkel and Tim Kilgore; and all others who went the extra mile to make things happen. 

Last weeks efforts grossed almost $ 11,000.  Ad sales, sponsorships, and raffle tickets bring the cumulative gross to $ 23,581 to date.  Members -sell your raffle tickets !

Members of the Carrollton Kiwanis Club:  Make sure that you volunteer to help at one of the two sites on October 30.   Jacob Stephenson and John McDaniel will be looking for help at Central High School Stadium, and Bruce Gore and Dwain Mathis will be looking for help at Carrollton High School Stadium.  Come make this a special day for players, parents, coaches, and cheerleaders.
