from Joan Hill - Allen's sister:

Good afternoon to all of Allen's friends, associates and co-workers who have supported my Mom and I thru the last few days the same way you all supported Allen over the last 25 plus years. We just laid him to rest in Edenton, NC with his friends and family surrounding him. It has indeed been a trying time for us and more trying times ahead but we will get thru the hand that has been dealt to us. Once again thank all of you so much for your friendship to Allen over the years and support to my Mom and I in the past few days. I look forward to maybe meeting some of you as I travel back and forth dealing with various things over the next few days, weeks & possibly months.

2014:  Allen Trapp presented special Tennessee bottle to Daryl Dickey .

Kiwanis Bowl 2015 will not be the same as those in the past without announcer extraordinaire Allen Trapp.
Many Kiwanians have told him over the years that with a face like his -  he should be in radio.  May he RIP .
