Two Carrollton Kiwanians were honored and presented the Governor's Medallion:  Georgia Carter (District Showcase Chair) and Jim Carter (Treasurer of Distinguished Club).

The trophy held by Georgia Carter and Jimmy Lester was presented to Richard Dixon at the District meeting in Milledgeville when Division 20 was awarded Distinguised Division in Georgia.

Kiwanian Bill Brewer helped provided the music for the Governor's Rally by playing Bass Fiddle and singing in the Irish Band with Joel Auble and Co.    Fred Richards did his usual exemplary job of introducing dignitaries, notably Past Governor Pat and Eunice Tritt, Gov-elect Chuck and Mrs. Hood,  and Jimmy McCorlew, Secretary-Treasurer of the Georgia Kiwanis District Foundation .

Georgia Kiwanis Governor Greg Hall gave an inspiring talk on the benefits of Kiwanians helping Children.  Before He spoke, Showcase Chair Georgia Carter presented the Governor with a showcase medalion.
