Governor and Lt. Gov.

Richard Dixon presented the program for the Carrollton Kiwanis Club on Friday, August 2.   Dixon is sponsored by the Carrollton Kiwanis Club as he entered his name in rotation for State-wide office rotation during the Convention in Atlanta on Saturday.  Nomination speeches were rehearsed and timed during the local club's program.   At the Kiwanis delegate convention on August 10, Dr. Fred Richards gave the nominating speech for Richard Dixon.  Long time friend and Kiwanis member Jim Collins gave the "second" speech.  Dixon will serve Kiwanians in the state of Georgia as Secretary-Treasurer for one year, Governor-elect for the next year, and then Kiwanis Governor for 2015-2016.
