District Convention Update

6 members from our club attended the District Convention in Macon,Ga over the weekend.We were well represented by Dan Lewis(District Foundation Board Member), Georgia Carter (District Art & Music Showcase Chair), Will Ozier (incoming VP of our club), Mike Dugan (incoming President of our club), Neil Weathington(past Pres), and Richard Dixon(past Lt Gov).
News from the convention included voting on upcoming district leaders (Jimmy McCorlew-Columbus as Sec-Treas,
Catrina Baranco-Albany as Gov Elect and Chuck Hood-Metro Atlanta as incoming Gov).
Our club also won 4 PR awards including best scapbook-see Neil for more info.
Richard Dixon was elected to serve as Pres elect of the Past Lt Governor's association.Elaine Stone will serve as Pres(Douglas Cnty)
