Derick Newton inducted into the George F. Hixson Fellowship

Derick Newton was honored and inducted into the Kiwanis George F. Hixson Fellowship at the annual awards day ceremony on Friday, September 26, 2011 and a one thousand dollar ( $ 1,000 ) donation was contribed from the club to the Kiwanis International Foundation in his honor. Newton has just completed his service in the officer rotation, having served as club president in 2010 and having served on the State-wide membership growth committee.
