Carroll Co. Veteran's Memorial Park

Retired Carroll County Voter Registrar James Crawford returns every year on Memorial Day weekend to Carrollton from his retirement home in Florida to participate in ceremonies at the Carroll County Veteran's Memorial Park.  Three veterans spoke to the Carrollton Kiwanis Club on Friday, May 25, and reported on the development of the Veteran's Park and memorial services to be held there.  Norris Garrett currently serves as president and Bill Cowart serves as Vice President of the Carroll County Veteran's Park Association.   Special commemorative services are held at the park each year on Memorial Day weekend and on Veteran's Day.
