Carol Wisdom spoke to the Carrollton Kiwanis Club at Sunset Hills Country Club on Friday, March 21, 2014.

Although the American Lung Association early in the century was originally organized to help combat tuberculosis, much of the emphasis now is directed towards treatment of asthma, lung cancer, COPD, and air pollution.

She invited Kiwanians to join the "2014 Fight for Air Climb"; a contest to climb stairs in the 191 Building on Peachtree on April 19, 2014.  Anyone interested should probably have started getting in shape before now.

Carol serves Kiwanis in Georgia as chair of Youth Protection.  She served as Lt. Governor of Division 15, has chaired State Convention, and has served as President of the Georgia District Foundation.  Wisdom is a candidate for Secretary-Treasurer in District again this year; having come in second last year to our very own Richard Dixon.
