Jess Lassetter - A-Day for West Georgia

Jess Lassetter provided the program for the Carrollton Kiwanis Club on Friday, October 11, 2024 in UWG's Hubbard Dining Room.
Lassetter is the Director of Giving at the University of West Georgia, and the perfectly timed program precedes the annual A Day for West Georgia campaign.  On Thursday, October 17, 2024, hundreds of volunteers with balloons will canvas the community for donations from local supporting businesses.

Dr. Richard Fiori - Beef Chili Cookoff

Make sure to visit the third annual Beef Festival at the Carroll County Ag Center (900 Newnan Rd) on Saturday from 10 A.M . to 2:00 P.M.
 
Dr. Richard Fiori will be representing the Kiwanis Club in the Beef Chili Cook-off .

Aktion Club  - crafty with Spiders

Glue two eyes on the model of the spider's body, and insert pipe cleaners to make fuzzy legs, and VOILA!
Each member of the Aktion Club can be a proud owner of his own spider.

Volunteers are needed for the football koncessions when the Shorter Hawks face the UWG Wolves.
 
The early crew meets at 11:30 A.M.
The game crew meets at 1:00 P.M.
