Dr. Richard (Dick) Ingle - South India Christian Mission

Dr. Richard Ingle provided the program to the Carrollton Kiwanis Club on Friday, April 28, 2023 in UWG's Hubbard Dining Room.

South India Christian Mission was started in 1994, initially as a personal and family "experiment" when its founder, Dr. Richard Ingle, decided to take a few young, dedicated Indian preachers under wing and encourage them in ministry. The experiment proved hugely successful as evangelistic outreach in India, and later also in Sri Lanka, blossomed.

April 14: The nominating committee chaired by Jim Collins presented the slate of nominees for the year 2023-2024 at the regular meeting on Friday, April 14, 2023.

Thanks to past-presidents who served on the nominating committee chaired by Jim Collins: Clint Backstrom, Joe Bell, Bob Graf, Randy Miller, and Tim Warren.

Thanks to the following Servants :

Directors elected for term 2023-2025: Jennifer McNiel, Lacey Robinson, and Travis Thomaston.

Directors to continue for term 2022-2024: Dr. Jimmy Brock, Shane Davis, and Jared Griffis.

Officers nominated for term 2023-2024:

President Paul McDaniel, President-Elect Mark Herring, Vice-President Joey Key, and Past-President Johnny Tanner.

Interclub - We were honored with an interclub visit from the all-female membership Kiwanis Club of Coweta County. It was our opportunity to meet four outstanding women dedicated to serving the children of Coweta County. Their visit also was an opportunity for one of the members, Jane Duenckel, to visit with high school friend Randy Miller! Joining us for lunch were: Jeri Burnette, retired school teacher with 43 years of teaching experience; Aline Archibald, retired from teaching after 33 years; Linda Dickerson, Club Past President and current Safety Coordinator and Fund-Raising Chair and a Registered Nurse who served others for 43 years; and Randy's friend, Jane Duenckel, retired teacher who thankfully made me behave during my introductions.
