. April 25, 2025: Mark Herring, Kiwanis President; Patrick Yuran; and Lacey Robinson, V.P. for Programs. The Kiwanis Club of Carrollton met on April 25, 2025, at the University of West Georgia Hubbard Dining Room in West Commons. Our club had the pleasure of hosting Patrick Yuran in his role as co-artistic director of the Real Theatre, a befitting acronym for "raw, elemental, artistic, and live" theatre. The mission of the Real Theatre is to pursue community connection and discovery related to the exploration of storytelling and messaging. Patrick shared the four branches of the Real Theatre: The professional guest artist series; Adult educational programs; Writer's workshops, and The production company. We enjoyed a recap of season 2024 highlights and a sneak preview of what's in store for the remainder of this year. .

Katie Dugan Barrett - Mike Dugan's niece enjoyed the lunch and program on Real Theatre with her uncle . Katie is married to husband Shane and they reside in the house formerly occupied by grandparents Dave and Sara Dugan. She is an engineering consultant for local utilities.
