The Kiwanis Club of Carrollton met on January 30, 2026, at the University of West Georgia's Hubbard Dining Room in West Commons. Our club had the opportunity to host Carroll County School Superintendent Mr. Scott Cowart. Mr. Cowart has invested 47 years in the educational field, with an impressive 35 years of his educational experience within Central campus buildings. We learned that the Carroll County school system is comprised of some 25,000 students with 26 school sites. Mr. Cowart shared his strategy for becoming a first choice school system through competitiveness and building a culture of achievement; developing connected schools anchored by community partnerships, and the customization of personalized learning environments through individual pathways.

Since we're meeting downstairs, it's not "all you can eat buffet."  
 
Lunch reservations are confirmed at the bottom of this e-mail.
 
David Blanton will provide the program for the lunch meeting on Friday, February 6. 
He is Executive Producer and host of Realtree Outdoors and Realtree RoadTrips
