Jean Martin and Teresa Leslie provided the program for the Carrollton Kiwanis Club on Friday, October 18, 2024 in UWG's Hubbard Dining Room. Jean Martin is an outspoken volunteer for the Humane Society and she brought with her this year's President; Teresa Leslie.
Two new members were inducted on Friday, October 18, 2024: President-Elect Joey Key conducted the "swearing-in".
Caroline Cetrulo - Caroline is the Membership and Retention Manager for the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce. She is sponsored by Mark Herring.
Mike Conley - Mike retired as an Architect in 2018 after he departed UWG in 2017 after +8 years as an Executive Director and a as Project Manager for AEC Project Services. He is sponsored by Neil Weathington.
Jean Conley - Jean Conley visited Kiwanis to witness husband Mike's induction into the Carrollton Kiwanis Club, and to enjoy lunch with Mike with the Kiwanis Club at West Commons on Friday, October 18, 2024. Jean is a registered nurse at Piedmont Healthcare. She and Mike have been married for 28 years and have three college age children: Megan, Michael and Lauren; two girls at UWG and son at KSU.
Julia Ingram - Julia is the daughter of Jenny Ingram and the granddaughter of Randy Miller. She is a Junior at Carrollton High School and volunteers with the Carroll County Humane Society. She works with Dr Jason Harden’s Carroll County Animal Hospital Veterinary Service, and at home enjoys two Scottish terriers named Dallas and Wilson.
The Georgia Kiwanis District Governor-Elect and spouse, Barry and Gloria Gardner, visited the Carroll County Ag Center to sample some of Dr. Richard Fiori's famous chili recipe.
