We welcomed an interclub from the Newnan Kiwanis Club in, of course, the great city of Newnan. Joining us to hear an informative program by Georgia State Trooper Jay Trawick were long-time friends C.R. Phillips and Mike Barber. C.R. is Lieutenant Governor of Division 3 and a Past President of the Newnan Club. A U.S. Navy veteran and Master Gardener, he's a proud, successful graduate of Purdue University. Mike, the velvet-voiced and silver-tongued chairman who announced the Newnan Football games for a quarter-century, was a Lieutenant Governor in 2000 and has maintained a record of perfect attendance for 35 years.
