Georgia District Governor David Simmons (from Cordele) presented many awards at the Division 12 Rally held at Tabernacle Baptist Church at 7:00 P.M. Friday February 28, 2025. Governor David Simmons presented the Georgia Legacy Awards to Joe Bell and Richard Dixon. Margaret Miller was present the Governor's Leadership Medalion.  Mark Herring was presented the Governor's Leadership Medalion. Governor David Simmons and Lt. Governor Mitch Clifton recognized the UWG Circle-K leaders: Jennifer McNiel, Faculty Advisor; students Reggie and Justice. Chuck Barnwell - Carroll County Fire Chief. Chuck was born in 1991 and is from Villa Rica. A huge Atlanta Falcons fan and loves tailgating and cooking on his smoker.
David Caswell - Specializes in wildlife services and is special needs assistant at West Ridge Church. David is originally from Smyrna and lives on a farm in Carroll County.
Scott Hembree - Owner of Peddle Recycling; West GA's only recycling pickup service. He and wife of twenty-five hears have seven children.
David Warren - Former Central High Band Director - now lives in Augusta with wife Allison, who attends Dental College of Georgia. David now represents Southeastern Sales for Fred J Miller ; band uniform manufacturer.
Anne Richards - attended today for book dedication in memory of Fred Richards.
