Two Kiwanians were inducted into the Hixson Fellowship: Mark Herring and Bob Myers.

Four members, who joined in 2001, have entered in the Legion of Honor. Congratulations to Kenny Duke, Terry Langley, Randy Miller, and Mike Renfrow, for reaching the twenty-five year milestone.
After joining the Legion of Honor, membership is honored every five years.

An invitation was sent to members of the Kiwanis Club to register for lunch on October 9, 2026. Twenty-one confirmations are printed in the commitments (bottom) of this e-news.

Hi Jennifer,
Joey mentioned that you are the campus contact for the Kiwanis Club. I wanted to reach out regarding their weekly visits to campus and to address their concerns about receiving parking citations while on site.
As you may know, UWG recently implemented new parking regulations that require all vehicles on campus to be registered and prohibit back-in or pull-through parking. Since Kiwanis has been a valued part of our campus community for many years, I want to ensure members can easily comply with these requirements by offering virtual visitor parking passes.
To streamline the process, I have created a visitor parking registration form: Kiwanis Member Vehicle Registration. Would you be able to share it with the group so that all members have the opportunity to register?
Once registered, we will create a virtual visitor pass valid through July 31, 2027. I will do my best to send a reminder next year for them to renew their registration. Members will still need to follow all campus parking regulations, including proper parking orientation, and will be responsible for updating their vehicle information if it changes.
