Dr. Tom Peterson  - The SPARK Program
Dr. Tom Peterson , UWG College of Education, introduced the SPARK Program to the Carrollton Kiwanis Club on Friday, January 17, 2019, in the Hubbard Dining Room on the UWG Campus.  The SPARK Program is a unique mentoring program designed to give hope to at-risk youth .   Peterson brought to this meeting three members of his team:  Juvenile Court Judge Tom Parmer,  Probation Officer Stephanie Love, and University Psychology student Allison Tarpley.

Dr. Emily Staples  -  Joey Key invited prospective member Dr. Emily Staples, owner of Rooted Chiropractic.   Emily is a graduate of Life University and has been to all fifty states.We're glad she's here in Georgia.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Prissi Sullivan  -  Sue Horn , publisher of Star News, brought reported Prissi Sullivan.  A reporter with the paper for eighteen years, she reports that she loves her work and would do it for almost "free" ,
 
 
Allison Tarpley, Judge Tom Parmer, and Stephanie Love.   We enjoyed an informative program by Dr. Tom Peterson, UWG Professor and founder of SPARKS.  He brought three associates:  UWG Psychology student Allison Tarpley, Juvenile Court Judge Tom Parmer, and eleven year veteran of the Department of Juvenile Justice,m Stephanie Love.
