Brandon Shaver provided the program for the Carrollton Kiwanis Club on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Sunset Hills Country Club.   He is a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

Renee Deese visited from Carrollton's Center for the Arts to receive a check from the Kiwanis Foundation.
The city of Carrollton hosts the Kiwanis Art and Music Showcase every February.

Maria Rivadeneira - 9th Grade Villa Rica
Congratulations to Maria Rivadeneira, ninth grade art student at Villa Rica High School.   Her watercolor painting titled "Better to Speak" placed second place for ninth grade in the Kiwanis State of Georgia Art Finals held at Lee County High School in Leesburg Georgia on April 28, 2018.   The painting won honorable mention in the Carrollton Kiwanis Art show in February and represented the Carrollton Kiwanis Club in the state final juried art show.

Clever title for fundraiser supporting the Eliminate Project.  The OMA kids raised $1,455.37.

Burt Fealing -  We welcomed Burt Fealing, General Counsel of Southwire, attending our club on behalf of Rich Stinson, CEO of Southwire.  Burt joined us to present the Republic Pledge on behalf of Southwire and in connection with the Georgia General Assembly.
 
Richard Hood  -  Richard Hood joined us to hear the program by Ken Krauther.  Richard is a retired consultant electrical engineer with Hood-Patterson and Dewer.
 
Cynthia Langley - Terry Langley brought devoted wife, Cynthia, whoi is also the Executive Director of Communities in Schools.
 
Stephanie Norton  -  Russell Yarbrough invited neighbor and special friend Stephanie Norton.  Stephanie teaches art at Bowdon High School and holds a B.A. and M.A. degree from UWG.
