Giving Thanks on Thanksgiving
Not a Kiwanis project - but it's right up our Alley:

New location:  The community effort to feed hot turkey lunches to the less privileged previously accomplished at the home of David and Andrea Walker has been moved this year to the Little Hawaiian's Venue on Cedar St in Carrollton Ga.
Food preparers should congregate at 7:00 AM on Thanksgiving morning.

A community effort to feed hot turkey lunches to the less privileged has in the past few years been accomplished at the home of David and Andrea Walker on Tyus Road.  This year (2018) The workers and deliverers will convene at  Little Hawaiian's Venue on Cedar St.

Here are some photos from years past:

Kiwanians Dr. Lok, Derick Newton, Nancy Dixon, and Neil Weathington participated in the early Thanksgiving morning activity.

This project was sponsored by Ray Fulford, Brad Cole Construction, and many donations from other businesses.

Moved:  You don't need to drive to Tyus .   This year (2018) go to Cedar Street in Carrollton Georgia.
