Dr. Brendan Kelly spoke to the Carrollton Kiwanis Club on August 5, 2022 in UWG's Hubbard Dining Room.   The University of West Georgia is very unique compared to similar institutions, and  has been proactive in embedding several programs to meet the needs of the community - such as Nexus (computer) training and the joint venture with Tanner Medical System to provide nurses to help combat the shortage of workers in the medical field.  The University Leadership has been keeping a close eye on the demographics of the current student population and is continually analyzing needs in the job markets - to better equip the students for careers.
