Kirby Butler presented to the Carrollton Kiwanis Club on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Sunset Hills Country Club -  the master plan of the community center to be known City Station in Carrollton, Georgia.

Reading in Memory of Dr. Seuss
Theodor Seuss Geisel (1904 - 1991) was an American author, political cartoonist, poet, animator, book publisher, and artist, best known for authoring more than 60 children's books under the pen name Doctor Seuss.  Dr. Seuss is the ninth-best-selling fiction author of all time (estimated 500 million copies sold.)
 
Members of the Carrollton Kiwanis Club will blitz the local schools and read to children on the anniversary of the birth of Dr. Seuss on March 2.  Books will be given to participating children.

Pageant at Carrollton Nursing ahd Rehab Center
Mrs. Wilma Riddle was crowned Queen at the Pageant at Carrollton Nursing and Rehab on Thursday, February 22, 2018.   Mrs. Wendy Huff won First Runner-up and Mrs. Mila Worthan won Second Runner-up.  Dr. Fred Richards served as Master of Ceremonies for the evening.  Members of the men's soccer team from Central High School served as escorts along with several members of the Carrollton Kiwanis Club.
