Mrs. Boyce-Gaskins - Boys and Girls Club

Ms. Boyce-Gaskins visited the Carrollton Kiwanis Club on July 24 at Sunset Hills Country Club. She received a check from the Carrollton Kiwanis Foundation and presented an update of events and success at the local Boys and Girls Club.

About the young men:

Marquavious Harris is a 10th grader at Central High School. He has attended the club this past year. His favorite club program is Passport to Manhood, which is a BGCMA character & leadership program that focuses on young men ages 11 and up to teach and model positive attitudes and how to be a community leader.

Demarcus McKinney is beginning his sophomore year at Valdosta State with scholarships he acquired as a Carroll County Boys & Girls Club member. He has represented our club as Youth of the Year, which is the highest award a club member. He returns to do speaking engagements for the local Boys and Girls Club.
